A delegation from Al-Istiqlal University visits the Language Center at An-Najah National University

A delegation from the Department of Languages at Al-Istiqlal University visited the Language Center of An-Najah National University. The delegation included Dr. Maise Ouda, the Head of the Department, the faculty members: Ms. Hedayat Abulhawa, Mr. Ziad Oweida, Ms. Fawzia Marmesh, and the third-year students of the University.

And, the delegation was received by Dr. Abd Al-Karem Daraghma, the Dean of the College of Humanities at An-Najah National University, Mr. Amjad Al- Issa, the Director of the Language Center, and Ms. Maysaa Abu Zant.

Furthermore, Dr. Abu Ouda thanked the administrative team of An-Najah University for its warm welcome and hosting, stressing the importance of the visit in discussing the programs and the various courses which were implemented by the center, and how to exchange experiences for the benefit of students on both the scientific and practical levels.

Moreover, Dr. Daraghma expressed his happiness with the meeting, which would strengthen the cooperation between the two Universities, and enhance the aspects of joint work, especially the theoretical aspect acquired throughout the semesters, by focusing on cognitive skills according to their academic needs.

For his part, Mr. Al-Issa gave a detailed explanation of the nature of the center’s work, its inception, what services it provides, its future directions, and its strategic development plans, especially in terms of using modern technological means and methods in the integrated education.

In conclusion, the administrative team conducted an introductory tour of the University's facilities, its faculties, as well as the center's facilities, the electronic laboratories and the classrooms.

This comes within the framework of extracurricular activities to develop students' abilities and potentials, and increase their level of knowledge and information, which qualifies them to engage in the Palestinian Security Establishment, and improve their professional and functional performance.
